Bill is a reputation management, crisis communications and professional development expert and best-selling author of Critical Moments: The New Mindset of Reputation Management. He has more than 25 years of global experience managing high-stakes crises, issues management, and media relations challenges for both Fortune 500 companies and winning global political campaigns.
Bill previously co-led the Global Risk Management and Crisis Communications Practice for Hill+Knowlton Strategies. He held senior leadership positions in the firm’s Austin, Texas, Los Angeles and Orlando, Florida offices, where as a member of the senior management team he was responsible for the firm’s growth strategy.
Allison is an experienced strategic communications professional who has guided organizations through media relations challenges, message development, public affairs campaigns and crises. Clients ranging from Fortune 10 companies to grassroots organizations have entrusted Allison with achieving their strategic communications goals. Allison joins Kith Consulting after nearly eight years at FleishmanHillard, where she worked in the firm’s public affairs practice group with government, higher education, energy & environment, food & agriculture and technology clients. For AT&T, Allison managed communications for some of the company’s most high-profile issues, including programming contract expirations and the $49 billion acquisition of DIRECTV. Additionally, Allison has extensive experience helping commodity boards like the National Mango Board and Tri-Lamb Group with awareness and education campaigns. Allison, a Texas native based in Austin, earned her degree from Texas A&M University.
As a young professional in the communications field, Megan is passionate about agriculture and has a vested interest in enhancing the public’s perception of the agricultural industry. She has a background in production agriculture and has experience working with several agricultural associations in the areas of journalism, public relations, design and campaign and strategic planning. Megan is a graduate of Texas Tech University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications.
Dr. Michele Pfannenstiel
Dr. Pfannenstiel is an internationally recognized expert in food safety and agricultural systems. Dr. Pfannenstiel earned her BA in Economics and Geology from Wellesley College, and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. Dedicated to serving her country, she has served in both the United States Peace Corps and the US Army Veterinary Corps. After fulfilling her active duty commitment, Dr. Pfannenstiel settled with her 3 children and husband in Southern Maine.
Heather Seibel has a tenured career in broadcast journalism at the local and national level. Heather is an expert in hard deadlines. As an Emmy award-winning Associate Producer, she succeeded daily at a superior level on the ESPN flagship show “SportsCenter”. She is a delicate communicator, savvy decision-maker and is customer service oriented. Heather has a degree in Communications from Emerson College in Boston. She is married to a TV news anchor and has three wonderfully spirited children.
Steph is a digital communications specialist with extensive experience in training and testing teams in managing social media in a crisis.
Prior to founding The Social Simulator he was Head of Digital Communications at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. Steph is a regular speaker and trainer on social media crisis communications and reputation management. Steph has a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
Chris is an expert in crisis and reputation management. He has worked extensively in the field of crisis communications, helping organizations from across sectors to develop, embed and test crisis preparedness programs.
Prior to joining The Social Simulator, he worked for Regester Larkin, a specialist crisis and issues management consultancy. Chris delivers regular lectures on crisis communications. He has an MA International Public Relations from the Cardiff School of Journalism.
