Getting Started: How “Why?” Defines All Other Questions

By Bill Coletti, CEO, Kith

Critical Takeaways:

·      Every organization knows what and how they do what they do, but few take the time to ask why they do what they do.

·      “Why?” is your purpose, your cause, your belief—why does your organization exist?

·      According to Simon Sinek, leaders who start with the question “Why?” have the ability to inspire those around them or find others who inspire them.

I have enjoyed sharing the Simon Sinek video about WHY with clients and friends since I was first made aware of his insights.  I encourage you to take a look and see what you think.  Please post comments below about why we all don’t start with why.  Do you know your why?

People don’t buy what you do, they buy Why you do it.
